“My photographs are particular in their rendition, detail and colour.”

Ilfochrome, previously known as Cibachrome is a direct positive photographic material manufactured by Ilford GMBH until the product was discontinued in 2012. This Ilfochrome material is known for its high gloss surface, vibrant colour rendering and archival stability. Ilfochrome, Cibachrome prints are often described as dye destruction prints. This material was most commonly used for making prints from colour transparencies.

The majority of colour works made by Richard Learoyd are produced on Ilfochrome material.
